There are three convenient ways to participate in the 2023 New Jersey state election. This resource center is available to help you decide which works best for you.

1) Voting in person on Election Day - Polls are open November 7th from 6am-8pm

2) Voting by mail - Ballots begin arriving after September 23rd
​
3) Voting early in person - Early polling locations will be open in each county from October 28rd until November 5th.

If you received a mail-in ballot but did not return it because you would prefer to vote in person, you will be required to cast a provisional ballot.

If you want to avoid a trip to the polls but want to ensure Republicans win this November, voting by mail is a convenient, safe and secure way to ensure your vote is counted in the November 7th election.

The process of sending ballots to voters will begin on September 23rd, 2023. You can apply for a mail-in ballot until October 31st.

To return your ballot you can:
1) Mail it back.
2) Drop it off at a secure ballot drop box. To find a secure drop 24-hour box location in your county to cast your ballot click here.
3) Deliver your ballot directly to your county Board of Elections. To find your Board of Elections Office click here.

Early voting will begin on October 28th and run until November 5th.

You will be able to cast your ballot at any early voting location in your county during this time. Early voting locations may not be your typical polling location so please click the link below to find the most convenient location for you.
